No pain...no gain.

I believe in no pain, no gain. Why do I bring this up? Because for some odd reason, my back REALLY hurts...so much so that it hurts to sit down, stand up, lie down, r move it in any way. But oh well.

Anyway...at work, they had a most pleasant music selection, they played..."Son of Man", "You'll Be in My Heart", "Groovy Kind of Love", "In Too Deep" and "Land of Confusion" all in the same night! My Bagger and cool friend Carissa knew and sang the all of the above...fun stuff. You learn a lot being a cashier at a Super Market. Well, my back is hurting too much to think...so I may finish up here...Nah. I will continue...Nevermind...Oww....

When I'm feeling blue/ All I have to do/ is take a look at you/ Then I'm not so blue//

So yeah, that song is slowly becoming one of me high favorites. It has pretty much everything I want in a song. If I were to go to a prom, I would hope this song would be played. But that won't happen. Moving on, I have been thinking...about certain things. Hmm...since I have nothing better to do, I will make a short list of a few of my pet peeve's...(Not necessarily in order.)

1. Spit balls
2. stray buggies in parking lots
3. Ignorant rocks
4. arrogant rocks
5. (Something that I won't say because of certain reader(s))
6. Loud people

Well, that is my short list. Next subject...Hmm...It is funny what people think of me. From the worst person to walk the earth to one of the best people they know...Though the people who know me best know me to be someone who likes to have fun, and is someone who cares a lot about those close to him. Well, I am tired...maybe I will make another post tomorrow...Maybe.

Out of the ashes, rises a post.

Yeah, I have been VERY busy over vacation....NOT! Mainly being outside, and slowly refilling our driveway. In addition, I wrestled...I enjoy it. But besides that, nothing much went on. I realized, I have a MAJOR pet peeve of people leaving grocery carts in the parking lot, not just at Hannaford...but anywhere, Yes, even Market Basket. It really annoys me to see a cart(s) just sitting in the parking area of a store. I go as far as to push stray one A: Back into the store, or B: Into the assigned area. Another annoyance is when you first open the store, someone comes into your check out lane, with two small items, and ives you a 100 dollar bill, and since you JUST opened, you have a few tens, or smaller in change, THEN they get mad at you for making them wait while the powers that be get the proper change. May they slip ad lose all their money in a drain...Mwa hahahaha.

Anyway, I like the new song I have on my site. It is a nice slow song...the type I like...I don't like this new hippity-hoppity junk. Let us go back to the days of the Eagles, Beach Boys, etc. But that is just me own thoughts. I noticed that all of the good songs are played in the morning at work...after during the afternoon and evening, they play to modern junk. But yeah.

I was thinking about going ino a certain area...but I won't because a CERTAIN person would be all over me like a fruit-fly to a piece of decaying fruit. So next subject...Hmm.

The song I have up...

"Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins.

When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When you're close to me, I can feel your heart beat
I can hear you breathing near my ear
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love

Anytime you want to you can turn me onto
Anything you want to, anytime at all
When I kiss your lips, ooh I start to shiver
Can't control the quivering inside
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love, oh

When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When I'm in your arms, nothing seems to matter
My whole world could shatter, I don't care
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love
We got a groovy kind of love
We got a groovy kind of love, oh
We got a groovy kind of love

This song I like very much...most of his stuff I like. It is very calming and soothing. Especially this song.

Well, that is all for today.

HAD to add these. XD

No, this isn't really about WW2. Just a spoof.

Funny stuff...I actually know one of those guys. XD. If you would like to se more stuff, Search Norwich University on youtube

My Thoughts of Norwich...

Well, The trip to Norwich is done. It was the last time I would go there till the NU Advantage. Anyway, It was a good trip, and I had good company. It looks and feels the place for me. I have had their food before, and at least that is good. The faculty are nice, and fun to be with.

And now I have three people who agree that it is a good school, and think I will be good there. So Thank you guys. But anyway, the closer it comes the faster time moves. As of now there are 42 days left till graduation, then after that, I am in Europe, then NUA THEN College. It is scary how fast everything moves. I made a list of all the important things, from April till August.

April: NU 101 (Done)
May: I Remember Mama (Coming up)
Graduation (42 Days)
June: Europe Trip
July: NU Advantage (All month, and early august)
August: College.

As you can see many things will be happening. Well that is all for now...I must be off.

Norwich and stuff...

Well, I guess I will break this post into sections to make it more chewable. Here we go...

FRIDAY...the 13

Well the only thing worth mentioning was working for 9 hours. 12-9. That is my personal record for work outside working for a relative. (i.e. my grandfather 10 hours.) Then Randy slept over for the big day.

SATURDAY...Jeep haters...>_> Yes Zeke that means you. :-P

This is where the bulk of the post will be...I hope. Since Randy slept over, I had a little trouble sleeping. When he is both tired AND excited, he talks more than anybody I know. So, the day official began at 3:30 AM. We were supposed to get up a 4 AM...but apprently, my cell phone, Randy's cell phone, my computer clock, and alrm clock display diffrent times. And I woke up to the earliest of these which was my Alarm clock. (I didn't realize that it was half an hour behind the rest.) But that was Ok. I got up, and got dressed. Randy eventually did the same. The time is 3:45 at this time...SO, Randy and I decided to leave then. We drve down to the corner of the road, and sat there for a few minutes, deciding whether to wait there till 4:30, our original leave time, or drive to some gas station and wait there. We decided to do the gas station deal. Here are some pictures from this time...

This is Randy...he is somewhat awake...

THIS is Randy at 3:45 AM...a complete nut-case. Next picture.

This is his "Mad" expression...now to the next....

Your truly, the creator of the trip, and all around good guy. ME! At 3:45

That is all of the pictures for now. Back to the story. Anyway we drove off, I decided to stop closer to our next destination. So eventually we got off the exit and found a nice gas station to wait at. We went inside, and got a drink. We waited out our time then we called our other two members. The initial call, failed. Then we tried the second...we got him. I told him that we were about five minutes away and that they should be getting ready. Then we drove off.

Now, when we reached the road I was supposed to turn on to, I missed it, because A certain someone wouldn't shut up, and I was distracted. Then I turned around, and straightened out my error. We soon arrived at...The Gable Household. When I turned into their driveway, I didn't see anybody, but sure enough they came. They looked like they were not awake yet, and very zombie-ish like...at least that is what they wanted to look like. (Sorry Guys, didn't happen.) The they piled in, and we left. We hit Dunkin's on the way to Norwich, and we talked, about very random stuff on the way up. We got there...about 15-20 minutes early, so once I registered, we walked around the various tables, seeing what was being displayed. My favrite table was the Bagpipe team. They looked amazing in kilts and tartans. They are fairly new, and I may join them. After browsing through some other tables, Abi and I sat down and had a muffin, and some Orange juice, Randy and Zeke were stuck at the Electrical table, But of course, soon after Abi ad I sat down munching anad talking away, Randy comes over and says that He didn't understand a thing that Zeke was saying...so he came to join us. The muffins were not bad, the orange juice in Abi's case like to spit. Fun stuff.

Then after all of this, the official welcoming started, there was the posting of the flags, (National, State, Norwich, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines.) Then a group sand the National Anthem. Then we got the welcoming speech, it came and went, then the Prospects and their families broke up by Major. Eventual CJ (Criminal Justice) was called, we all filed out, and made our way to White Chapel. There, we heard from the overseer if you will, of the CJ Department. He explained the curriculum and fun stuff like that. Then some students spoke on what they did, some trips they went on, and some interesting internships they received. Then since we finished early, we were able to take a peek in a Cadet's Room. Two things come to mind; 1)Empty 2) Clean. Now, I have seen both Cadet rooms, and Civi.. Rooms. Civi rooms are usually a mess. So yeah, Cadets are coller in this respect. Anyway, then we went to lunch. I had a meat, and cheese sandwich. GOOD FOOD. After lunch, we prepared to leave. Then we left. On the way out Abi took some photos...here is oe or two of me favorites...

The ride home was good...except for the beginning before turning onto the highway, we almost lifted onto two wheels, all courtesy of Randy and speed. That didn't last long. As soon as we found a rest area, Zeke and Randy switched, from then on, we had a more peaceful ride. 2 hours later, we dropped of the Gables, and we left...

The End.

Well, my thoughts? See the next post.

What a good night, :-)...

Tonight I was able to speak with someone I haven't seen of talked in 13 years. Who is this person? Her name is Rebecca. She is also the girl I liked back in KINDERGARTEN! "How did you find each other again"? you ask. Well, I'll tell ye...

It all started about a week ago, when I was on Facebook...I was bored, and looking up various people with no luck. Then I remembered a name from the misty past. Rebecca. Well I looked her up. Lo and Behold there was a Rebecca L***e. But I didn't think it was her...so I stopped looking. Then I went back to looking, and reviewed the people that showed up the last time...the one that I thought is wasn't, went to the goes to the High School of the Elementary school that I went to...So I decided to ask her if she knew a Mrs. Tawney, (My First Grade Teacher.) Rebecca replied the next day saying she did...actually, I will replay the conversations for you...so you can see how things progressed...

Bradford: Did you have a Teacher named Mrs. Tawney? back in 1st grade?

Rebecca: no, but i know her. i had a teacher named mrs.McKenzie in first grade. same school tho------why?

Bradford: I was just looking up old friends, that;s all. And you have the same name. Sorry to bother you.

Rebecca: are you thinking of becca o'connor?

Bradford: No, It was a Rebecca Locke, Do you remember a Mrs. Jones?

Rebecca: yeah she was my kindergarden teacher.

Bradford: Do you remember an annoying kid named Brad Wise?

Rebecca: indeed i do...
i asked my mom about you
she said you had a HUGE crush on me and everytime after you talked to me you would shake cuz you were so happy
lol

Bradford: Haha, yep, that was me :-D

I can't believe it. After 12, 13 years, I didn't think I would see or hear from anyone from K, 1st grade. It is just...shocking! (To me at least.)

Well, since you probably don't want to talk to me...I will take my leave. Again, it is nice hearing from you...

Brad

Rebecca: thats so funny.
i didnt even remember you until i asked my mom then i was like---- oh yeah!!! but
i dont mind talking.
you dont have to leave me alone.

Then tonight, we IM'ed for about an hour and a half. :-) It was amazingly fun, and wonderful to catch up. It was a night to remember...I learned that she has NEVER had any coffee! Hopefully we will be able to meet up and have some sometime. Well that is my exciting update for ya'll...

and one more thing. The movie Happy Feet, is amazing...here is a trailer.

I wish this said it all...

I wish and my friends know this is true for each and everyone of them...for me however...
