The turning of the Ring.

The Claddagh Ring...or Irish Friendship Ring.

This past week was my Spring Break and some interesting things happened...but before I get into that, I will give a brief introduction of what a Claddagh Ring is and what it's uses are.

To start off, the three main symbols are the hands (Which represent friendship), the heart (Which represents love), and the crown (Which represents loyalty). The saying that is often associated with these rings is, "Let love and friendship reign."

These rings can be given in friendship, or to the one you love. How the ring is worn shows the romantic availability of the wearer. Here are the four ways...

Right Hand-
Design facing out away from the body- The person is single, and may be looking.
Design facing in towards the body- They are taken and someone has captured their heart.

Left Hand-
Design facing out away from the body- The person is engaged.
Design facing in towards the body- The person is married.

ANYWAY, that is the basic idea of the ring.

Now, for the story that I having been saving.

It isn't really a story, I can make it a story if people are interested...but until then...it is just an update.

The update is...I have a girlfriend. SURPRISE!! O_O Who would of thought...anyway. Ta for now.

Neat, B. I hope you'll share more. Photos are always enjoyed. ;) Does she ballroom dance?

I didn't know there were four options for the ring. Thanks for sharing that...that's cool. One of my engagement rings was a Claddaugh.

You know, the rest of us don't believe that you would be so nonchalant about having a girlfriend.

What's her name? What does she look like?

You seriously think you can say "I have a girlfriend" and expect even ME to not want to know everything?
