Pictures From Work

Well, here they are...I will be posting the various pictures that were taken (There are not many.) With captions below them. Well,...here goes.

This is a picture of HQ...^^^ A very nice building if I may say so.

This is my "office" for the week...as you can see, it is NOT organized...yet.

The home of the "Bottom Dwellers"...This is where I usually hung out when I wasn't in the office...this is home of the Field Crew.

This is me Tuesday at 6:30 am, the day of 110+ degree weather and the 5 gatorade and 2 gallon water chug.

Speaking of which....this stuff became my Life blood I think...Instead of blood I have gatorade pulsing through my veins.

A GUN...very Technical piece of equipment...you must take VERY GOOD CARE OF IT...it costs $15,000.00

And finally...THE MACHETTE!!! Gaze upon it's splendor...

Well...that's all for now...Till the next post...

Work, work, work...and JAVARAMA!

Ello all...and G'day! Well today is Thursday and Tomorrow is Friday, my last day down here South of ya'll...or in one case east. Today was an average day at work I also got some good Costa Rican coffee...good stuff. ;-)....except today when doing Plot Plans...we worked on peoples lawns....this makes me VERY Careful about where I step and what I do...because last time...some called the police on me...*remembers the day...*

I was told to setup a station behind someones house on their yard...I did so, after waiting a five ten minutes of standing...(we were doing GPS work.) I sat down...and leaned against a nice tree but the sun was in my face, so I covered it with a baseball cap on backwards. After a few minutes, I see someone watching me from behing a tree...hmmmmm. Very Suspicious. Now realise that I can still see through the back, but this person doesn't know that I am watching their every move. Anyway, then I noticed this person taking photos...I thought to myself, 'Uh-Oh...not good' Then I saw it...I saw the phone...at this time the person was talking on the phone and went back inside. I thought it was over. After another ten minutes, ny Crew chief came and got me. We packed up, and started loading the van. I at this time didn't tell him about the person/photos/phone. Right when we were pullling out, a police car pulled up. Now I knew who the call was made to. At this time, my CC looked at me, and I told him to go. When we were just about to turn out of sight, I saw the person point at our vehicle. I told the CC all about the experience. He laughed....*Stops remembering* Yeah so, that was an exciting time, and now I am promoted to Lower Crewmen! Now I am given more responsibilities and now I start doing basic funtions with the gun. Well, that's about all from me...I hope to update again tomorrow.

Wednesday...

Well, today is Wenesday. I am now halfway through the week. In today's news, I worked in some new rural area; Nothing exciting. However! I was able to use a Machete! I though about shaving with it...but is was too dull :-( Besides that, I had a normal day. I got home around 3:30, and then...I took a nap...and for two hours. This is not usual. But besides that, I've been reading "The Great Divorce" by CS Lewis. Is good book, well written; But it's by CS Lewis, so what else is too be expected, right?

I have been taking pictures of various things that I work with, as well as some locations of work, however, I can't put the pictures up right now, as the computor I'm using is being a bloody Galah at the moment. They should be up by Saturday/Sunday...itdepends on how tired I am.

Well, that's all from here...I will update again...soon I hope...Arrivederci!

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I Love Ya, Tomorrow; You're Only A Day Away...

Right. So, anyways, Today was my last day of work for the week. YAY! *Jumps up and down with excitement.* Today's work site was plain FREAKY. First of all, it was in the woods, and the layout was wierd, all of the trees were covering the canopy so very little light got in. The trees were spread out in almost evenly spaced increments. Then there're was this high pitched wail that seemed to be coming from everywhere. It was the type to freeze your blood. Then there're foots steps from something large, and some small that could be heard. Andyet, there was this....evil feeling, that something...or someone was watching you. And that feeling wouldn't go away. Plus the owner of land was extremely creepy. Worst yet....I had to carry 80 pound monuments around in the woods, and in these woods were THORNS! Many Thorns. So, that was not fun. Plus we were digging holes in a huge rock infested area...Well, that's all for now.

Work, books, and tornadoes, OH MY!

Well, today I worked again...at the Land of Mordor. Not really, but it looked like it. Barren and lifeless like, th esun was red...and hazy. Today I went on a Stake-out...where I...well...Staked. Fun stuff...and today I was promoted to the rank of Upper Grunt (That's still pretty low.) At this rank, I am now entitled to wear a surveyor's belt, and am entitled to more work...fun stuff.

After work (Which started at 6:40 am-3:40 pm) we went to the bookstore. There I bought "A Grief Observed", "The Great Divorce", and "The Problem of Pain"...All by CS Lewis. After these three books I have 4 other books of his to read.

And we've had weird weather lately...tornadoes, hail...etc.

Well that's all from the CT front...Talk to ya'll later.
