What's that?

What's that? That is the question a little girl who frequents my checkout lane at Hannafords asks. Each and EVERY item that goes down the belt she asks, "What's that?"
She is one of my FAVORITE regulars. :-)

That is a random picture of me in all of my splendor! Fear me.

Anyway, this past Saturday, was St. Patrick's Day. How did I celebrate? Well, first I got out of going to work at 7:00 AM...then I went to Church to Shovel a LOT of snow (and if you have been to my church, then you know how much snow there can be.), then shovel many bucketfuls of sand to the sander...each bucket potentially weighing 250 pounds.
All the while speaking in an Irish accent, and wearing green as well as listening to Celtic Music.

Then at Youthgroup, we played LUCKY Leprechauns! How do you play? Well, let me tell ye.

First you get many volunteers...then they all line up in a staright line. You hand the first person a Peep (tm) then they have to say "Lucky Leprechaun" CLEARLY. And you move down the line until someone cannot say it...I tied for first YAY! The bad part was having the sticky fingers, and puking up nasty Peep (tm) mess. Yech...

That was my ST Patrick's Day.

Then Sunday came...usually a good day for me...but this one would be different...Sunday, Our beloved Pastor announced his retirement. This is a big thing for our church. In it 29 years of existence, we have only had TWO pastors, and The current Pastor, Pastor clow, has been the one I had since I started going there...so it is tough...and the same night, I learn that one of my friends whom I have grown up with got Engaged. It's weird, I've known him 9 years...and I guess that seeing him now an adult and Engaged is weird.

So yeah. That is all I can think of...

Remember this...I think, therefore, I.M!

Luuuuurvely post.

See, this is why I want you to post more often. You post wonderfully and tell it like it is. :)

The Lucky Leprechaun game sounds fun. I abhor Peeps (tm) however.

I... did absolutely nothing for St. Patrick's Day. For reasons I won't explain.

Love the bookshelves.

Ew Peep Puke! gross.

Well, this was a nice happy post. You seem to be in good moods these past weeks.

haha. I bet you totally loved having your day to celebrate your Irish Pride (And Luck). =D

I slept for St. Paddy's. For real. And I watched FF5 Realy Real Shows. >_> Not as much fun as you. =p

Oh well. MAN. I was going to say something else, but I totally forgot. uhg.

I forgot to speak in an irish accent....alas. But I wore a shamrock thingy in my hair at work. Only 3 people noticed though...
I like this post of yours as well. The Leprechaun game makes me think of
"chubby bunny" game, where you have to stuff as many marshmallows into your mouth and say "chubby bunny" without laughing or anything coming out. :-P

p.s....I wrote this THIS morning, techniclly....

What an awesome update!

I'm sorry about your pastor leaving. That is a weird thing. How old is your friend? I hope he is older than you are by a few years. Eighteen seems so young to wed. Especially, for a guy to become the head of a household.

You're very interesting, B. You should write like this more. You write well, very unaffected and real. Like yourself!

We played that game once with fireballs. It was very fun. I bet giant sour balls would be fun, too. We should do this is Extreme Days.
We should have like an "Extreme Days Open House" for next year's student's to come in and check out the class and we can play silly games, because I love games.

You know, and EDOH isn't a bad idea...
